New flats built on Moorland Road

Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) is a few months from completing its latest development in Splott; 15 new-build flats at the bottom of Moorland Road, opposite Moorland Primary School.

The three-storey flats are in two blocks which consist of nine one-bedroom flats in Block A and six one-bedroom flats in Block B.

The properties, due to be completed in June, will be to rent, allocated through Cardiff Council’s Common Waiting List.

CCHA is a non-profit organisation that was formed in 1996 with the merger of Adamsdown Housing Association and Moor Housing Association.  It is supervised by the Welsh Government as half the money for the building of new homes is given to CCHA by the Welsh Government.

Most of the homes provided by CCHA are for rent, but there are a few low-cost homes available to buy.  All homes are available to those on low or modest income.
