Do you have concerns or want to flag issues to the police? On Wednesday 21st of November, Splottlanders have the chance to talk directly to local police at a PACT meeting taking place at Oasis on Splott Road at 7pm.
Normally I’d just give a shout out on Facebook and Twitter, but in light of recent reports of anti-social behaviour (wing mirrors being smashed and the like) and the spate of school break-ins this week, it seemed to merit a little more this time.
We haven’t had a PACT meeting in Splott for quite a while, so fair warning folks – pop the 21st in your diary and get yourself to Oasis at 7pm to find out what’s being done to combat crime and anti-social behaviour affecting us in Splott and Tremorfa.
On the South Wales Police website there are a few Splott PACT priorities listed from back in 2016 – https://www.south-wales.police.uk/en/pact-priority/splott-pact-priorities/ – these are:
1) Speeding Habershon Street
2) ASB and drug misuse Gwendoline Place/Railway Street
3) ASB Splott Road junction with Walker Road.
Find out if these are still priorities at the meeting on the 21st – or find out what are the latest priorities for policing in our area.
