On Thursday 26th May, some hardy Splott residents went out on a litter pick by Ysgol Glan Morfa and found something…unexpected!
How timely, that just before the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee that they would find a programme to the opening of St David’s Hall on Tuesday the 15th of February 1983 by the Queen Mother!
Discarded in amongst rubbish at the base of a hedge, an eagle-eyed litter-picker found the brochure and handed it in to the team.
We let it dry out and photographed the pages:
