Splott Benthyg launches in new home at Railway Gardens on Wednesday 23rd November.
The pinch of the cost-of-living crisis has affected all of us & borrowing items instead of buying them new is a fantastic way to save money, save space & save the environment, by stopping unwanted items ending up in landfill.
Benthyg Cymru is Wales’ Library of Things and has one simple goal; to make borrowing as easy as popping out for a loaf of bread.
It is a place where you can:
- Borrow things you need but don’t own
- Donate things you own but don’t need
- Meet people to share knowledge and skills with your community
A new Benthyg is officially launching in Splott 12-1.30pm on Wednesday 23rd November 2022, where you can borrow items such as:
- a pressure washer
- children’s party pack
- sewing machine
- air beds & many more; at a low cost.
Tracey James borrowed a food dehydrator & said:
βthe borrowing process was straightforward. The dehydrator was in immaculate condition & fun to use. I used apples, bananas & oranges & am looking forward to using it again.β
Just visit the website https://splott.benthyg.cymru/ to register for free & start borrowing.
