Calendar

Wed
Breakfast Club @ Oasis Centre
Sep 18 @ 8:00 am – 10:00 am

Tea and coffee with a selection of toast, croissants, cereal and sometimes fruit and eggs.

Friends and Neighbours (FAN) Meeting at Oasis Splott Road @ Oasis Centre
Sep 18 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

FAN Groups run the same way on the same principles. In the meeting (an hour usually) we sit in a circle, with tea or coffee and read the opening statement. We speak only when it’s our turn. We listen to each speaker in silence and chat after the meetings. If you’re learning English many FAN Groups can find English speakers willing to help. There’s no charge for coming! Some Groups have a voluntary contribution. Most meetings do not have facilities for children.

Come to a FAN Group and share an hour with others – local resident or visitor – we’d love to meet you. It is amazing what interesting people you meet!

Some FAN groups close over half term, some carry on, is it possible to add a note to the calendar to say check the FAN website during the school holidays? www.thefancharity.org.
