Compassionate Community initiative launches in STAR Hub on Monday 19th December.
In partnership with the Co-op, Cruse Bereavement Support provides specialist resources, training and information to people or groups so they can better support the community in breaking down barriers surrounding grief.
Weekly drop-in support sessions will start in earnest from the 11th January 2023, but residents can find out more about the upcoming programme at the launch event in the STAR Hub on Monday 19th December between 3.30pm and 5.30pm (there is a rumour of a Winter Fayre on the same day – more to follow).
Organiser, Nigel Doré, said:
