The Wombles of Splott are back at it this weekend with a community litter pick Sunday morning.
Every month, usually on the last weekend of the month, a group of volunteers gather to tidy up an area in Splott.
Alternating between a Saturday and Sunday, the events bring people together to make a positive difference in their neighbourhoods.
This month, the group will meet at the bottom of Splott Road on Sunday April 27th at 10am for a few hours and are encouraging residents to take part.
All equipment is provided, including litter pickers, hoops, gloves, high vis vests and rubbish bags. The organisers have kits for children as well as adults, and it’s a great way of meeting people and getting outdoors.
